World’s first 3D-printed orchestra

One of the many pleasures of creating our 2014 season brochure was working with our friends at Levavo to create the world’s first 3D-printed miniature orchestra.  Each Aurora principal player was photographed from 64 angles, turned into a digital model, and printed using the latest in 3D-printing technology to create a 20cm-tall version of themselves.  (No, we still can’t quite wrap our heads round it either.)

The figurines have been making quite a stir in the industry, with articles on the GramophoneClassic FM and International Arts Manager websites.
