Next week, Aurora takes to the road with our friends from The Man Overboard Quintet as Jitterbug tours to St George’s Bristol (Wed 20 May), The Apex Bury St Edmunds (Thu 21 May), and Norfolk & Norwich Festival (Fri 22 May).

This prohibition-inspried programme dishes up a generous serving of toe-tapping jazz standards – in new chamber orchestra arrangements by Aurora’s in-house mixologist Iain Farrington – alongside works by Rameau, Stravinsky and Paganini. Iain Farrington’s Porgy & Bess Fantasy – an orchestral suite of George Gershwin’s much-loved opera – crowns this high-octane performance as classical meets jazz.
