The exceptional violinist Jonian Ilias Kadesha presents the Kreutzer Sonata, originally composed for the British violinist George Bridgetower, in an arrangement for solo violin with string orchestra. It is framed by the rousing Concerto for String Orchestra by the Polish composer Grażyna Bacewicz and the rarely heard music by Joseph de Bologne, violin virtuoso, composer and conductor, and an athlete and fencer during the French Revolution.
