Can music drive a man to murder?
Inspired by Tolstoy’s great tale of sexual jealousy, Kreutzer vs Kreutzer goes behind the closed door of the music room into a world of ungoverned passion. Featuring full performances of Beethoven’s Kreutzer Violin Sonata and Janáček’s String Quartet of the same name, Laura Wade’s play explores the love triangle between three great works.
A play for voices by Laura Wade with music from Aurora Orchestra.
Starring Jemima Rooper (Lost in Austen; One Man, Two Guvnors) as The Woman and Samuel West (Mr Selfridge) as The Man.
Note: Jemima Rooper replaces the indisposed Katherine Parkinson for this performance.
