“Marvellous… Playing from memory, Aurora created an organic sense of community, dynamism and inspiration.” The New York Times

The first orchestra in the world to play whole symphonies from memory, Aurora debuts at La Seine Musicale with this unique and thrilling performance style.

Perhaps Mozart’s most iconic and recognisable work, the ‘Great’ G minor symphony unfolds with gripping drama. Performing without sheet music, Aurora invites you to experience this cherished piece through the rare and fresh lens of memorised performance. Completing the programme, pianist Cédric Tiberghien joins the orchestra for Mozart’s dazzling Piano Concerto No. 13.
