Past event: The Lock-In: Électronique

Explore the bold possibilities of instrumental and electronic music with principal cellist Sébastien van Kuijk and his genre-defying duo Ambassade.

Distorting and transforming the cello and piano through electronic touches, Ambassade creates ethereal and evocative soundscapes that soar to otherworldly dimensions. With a kaleidoscope of inspirations from rock to electronic to classical music, Sébastien van Kuijk (cello) and Thomas Valverde (piano/keyboard) journey through prisms of colours and musical references, suspending time and space with their improvised sets that take you on a cosmic trip of intriguing and mesmerising sounds.
