Aurora Orchestra opens its inaugural tour to Brazil with a programme including works by Bartok, Adès and De Falla, alongside new music created by students from the Guri Project in collaboration with John Barber.

Aurora Orchestra performs in Belo Horizonte, as part of MultiOrchestra Conference, presenting one of its eclectic and immersive ‘orchestral theatre’ programmes: inspired by themes of paper, trees, and unfolding stories, ‘On Paper’ features ten of the orchestra’s principal players in a theatrical programme combining repertoire by Bartók, Brahms, Adès, Ligeti, Britten and Berio, and a new work by Anna Meredith.
