Beethoven Symphony No. 6 in F major, ‘Pastoral’

Tom Service presenter
Nicholas Collon conductor/presenter

After an electrifying performance of Brahms’ First Symphony from memory in Canterbury earlier this year, Aurora returns to give Beethoven’s ‘Pastoral’ Symphony the same uniquely direct and communicative treatment. Experience the spine-tingling effect of one of Europe’s leading chamber orchestras performing this groundbreaking symphony without a scrap of sheet music, with no barrier between players and audience.

The performance is introduced by BBC Radio 3’s Tom Service and Aurora’s Principal Conductor Nicholas Collon.
