Aurora Orchestra is recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the orchestra’s organisational finances and play a wider supporting role as part of the orchestra’s management team.
Since its creation in 2005 Aurora has established itself amongst the world’s leading chamber orchestras, with a distinctive and vibrant brand built on a marriage of quality and creativity. The orchestra has rebuilt rapidly following the disruption caused by the pandemic, and is currently preparing for its busiest-ever season in 2022/23. Newly resident at Southbank Centre, one of the world’s great concert venues, we are developing a host of signature ‘Orchestral Theatre’ projects which promise to redefine the possibilities of orchestral performance and reach new audiences for classical music. We have recently launched a major new digital learning initiative aimed at transforming classroom music teaching across the country, and are planning debut appearances at several leading international halls across the globe.
At this exciting moment for the orchestra, we are seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager with specialist knowledge of the creative industries. The appointee will work with the orchestra’s Chief Executive to oversee organisational finances, liaising closely with the board’s Finance and Operations Committee.
