Aurora Orchestra dances through the changing seasons of a year with Anna Meredith’s Anno, an electrifying modern reimagining of a Baroque classic.
Scored for strings, harpsichord and surround electronics, Anno interweaves Vivaldi’s masterpiece The Four Seasons with Meredith’s bold, kaleidoscopic music.
The result shimmers across the worlds of contemporary classical, art pop, electronica and experimental rock.
With the violin solo performed by Aurora’s Leader, Maia Cabeza, and accompanying projections created by Eleanor Meredith, the audience is immersed in a thrilling tapestry of sound and visuals.
