Bartók and Agatha the Pirate

Fri 11 June 2021
Hall Two, Kings Place

Join Aurora Orchestra for a magical treasure hunt with Agatha the Pirate. With brand new chamber arrangements of music by Bartók, audiences will sail the high seas, meet a host of glimmering jellyfish, and play hide-and-seek with a wonderfully wicked parrot.

With a specially-commissioned story from Kate Wakeling (Writer-in-Residence) and a host of playful opportunities to take part in the music led by Jessie Maryon Davies (Workshop Leader-in- Residence), these performances promise a joyful introduction to Béla Bartók and a chance to enter a magical world of music, discovery and play.
