Take part in a day of CPD for primary teachers with Aurora Orchestra’s education team, Workshop Leader-in-Residence Jessie Maryon Davies and members of the orchestra.
Develop your classroom practice in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 settings with the help of primary music-specialists each with over 25 years’ experience in the classroom in this collaboration between the Southbank Centre and Aurora Orchestra.
Gain confidence singing with a vocal workshop and explore Aurora’s digital learning platform, Aurora Classroom, then watch a performance of Aurora’s Far, Far Away production of Mendelssohn and the Moving Machines, specifically tailored to an adult audience.
This CPD day has been designed with both music-specialist and generalist classroom teachers in mind, and is intended to provide inspiration not only for your work with children in the classroom, but also for your own musical enrichment and enjoyment.
The day will run from 10.30am – 4pm. The price of the ticket includes an informal lunch.
