With its unprecedented scale and shattering dissonances, Beethoven’s Eroica transformed symphonic form in one astounding blow. Aurora Orchestra performs this groundbreaking work from memory, bringing its unique and critically-acclaimed memorised performance style to Beethoven’s masterpiece that launched the Romantic symphony.

Opening the evening is the world premiere of red china green house by Philipp Maintz followed by Nicola Benedetti, one of the most sought after violinists of her generation, performing Mendelssohn’s soaring Violin Concerto, a work of heart-stirring melodies and incredible originality.
