James Lawrie

After University at Cambridge, James Lawrie worked in investment banking from 1978–2005. He spent 16 years working overseas in Hong Kong, Singapore and the Netherlands focusing on equity issuance and M&A. Since 2006, James was Treasurer of Christ Church, an Oxford college and Cathedral. He was responsible, among other things, for Christ Church’s £750m endowment as well as leading property development and building projects. He is now retired.
