Rachel Mortimer

Trustee

Rachel started her career as a corporate lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills, followed by a stint with a private equity group as General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer. She has spent the majority of her career as Executive Director, then COO at UK Government Investments Limited, a public sector body which advises the UK Government on corporate governance and corporate finance.

She is currently taking a career break, which is giving her time to indulge her passions of music and sport. She has sung with various amateur choirs, including the London Philharmonic Choir, New London Singers and Pegasus, and plays the piano. She splits her time between London and Chamonix; when not doing something musical, she can be found on her bike (struggling up alpine cols), or on skis (struggling down alpine cols).
