Henry Baldwin

Henry combines his role at Aurora with the position of Co-Principal Percussion at the London Philharmonic Orchestra and a teaching post at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Henry has many other interests that mainly involve being outside. A keen long distance runner, Henry has recently developed a passion for mountains after holidays in Skye and Norway. Always up for a challenge, Henry's future projects include a mountain marathon. He would also love to climb all the Monroes on the Isle of Skye.

Aurora memory

My favourite Aurora memory has to be the Horrible Histories Prom. The orchestra was on top form and we played some fantastic symphonic repertoire not usually tackled by Aurora. The Horrible Histories cast and team were just brilliant and the atmosphere in the Royal Albert Hall electric. I'm still hoping we will do a stadium tour of the show someday.
