Aurora Orchestra’s much-loved family concerts continue with a magical journey through a wintery world in the company of Jimbo, the shy snow elephant. Help Jimbo to shuffle like a penguin, hop like a toad and sparkle like a thousand fireflies as he realises his dream to become a dancer.

Blending beautiful chamber arrangements of Debussy’s piano music with a specially-commissioned story from writer Kate Wakeling, this immersive musical adventure is presented by dancer Helen Aldrich in a 30-minute performance for children aged 0-5 years.

A woman sits on the floor holding a big metal tube to her nose, she is wearing big elephant ears. Behind her, someone plays the cello

A woman dressed as a snow elephant stands in the centre. A violinist stands away from her on the right, and a cellist sits to her left. Two children are at the front of the picture, involved in the musical performance

*Due to unforeseen circumstances, dancer Mia Theil Have has had to withdraw from this performance. Aurora is grateful for to Helen Aldrich for stepping in as replacement.
